Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of families to determine their mental health needs, creating individualized treatment plans that facilitate access to community-based services.
• Operate effectively in a crisis-driven environment, utilizing your knowledge of substance abuse, addiction, trauma, domestic violence, and child maltreatment to provide timely and compassionate support.
• Educate team members on the psychosocial stressors affecting clients, ensuring that everyone involved in the treatment process can contribute to positive outcomes for families.
• Document detailed patient histories, diagnostic assessments, and treatment outcomes accurately in our Electronic Health Record (EHR) system to maintain compliance and facilitate quality patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse clientele, including children, adolescents, and families facing mental health challenges, socio-economic difficulties, and various systemic barriers. Your efforts will directly contribute to the health and happiness of these individuals and families, making an impactful difference in their lives.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Psychologist in California.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in a counseling role, demonstrating proficiency in addressing a variety of mental health concerns.
• Experience working in community health settings is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from $115,000 to $130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Keck Health Care Center offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
