Registered Nurse (RN) – Operating Room (OR)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | Four days per week with rotating call one night per week and one weekend per month; varied shift start times (6:45 AM–5:15 PM or 9:30 AM–8:00 PM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct perioperative nursing care to patients in the operating room setting
• Perform scrub and/or circulating duties throughout surgical procedures?
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes
• Adhere to facility protocols, infection control standards, and surgical best practices
• Participate in rotating on-call coverage as scheduled

Required Qualifications

• Active Wyoming RN license in good standing (no disciplinary actions)
• Minimum of 24 months of Operating Room experience, with experience within the last 12 months
• Active BLS certification from AHA, ARC, or ASHI
• Active ACLS certification from AHA, ARC, or ASHI
• Active PALS certification from AHA, ARC, or ASHI
• Demonstrated scrubbing experience in the OR

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience strongly preferred
• Experience in a Level II Trauma Center or large acute care hospital environment
