General Production WorkerThis role involves assisting in the assembly of metal stoves in a fast-paced production environment. You will work on an assembly line with other team members, follow blueprints to build various types of stoves, and contribute to efficient and high-quality manufacturing operations.ResponsibilitiesAssist in the assembly of metal stoves on a production line.Read and interpret blueprints to correctly assemble various types of stoves.Work collaboratively with co-workers on the line and maintain clear, respectful communication.Follow established production and manufacturing processes to meet quality and efficiency standards.Operate basic assembly tools and equipment safely and accurately.Use required personal protective equipment, including steel toe boots and protective eyewear.Adapt to varying workloads, including the possibility of working extended hours when production demands increase.Participate in training and apply new skills and procedures as directed.Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with safety and housekeeping guidelines.Essential SkillsPrior experience working in a production or manufacturing environment.Ability to read and understand blueprints for assembly work.Strong communication skills for working effectively on a production line with co-workers.Experience with assembly work in a manufacturing or production setting.Ability to follow instructions and standard operating procedures consistently.Comfort working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.Basic mechanical aptitude for assembling metal components.This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Halifax, PA.The pay range for this position is $18.00/hr.Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
