Assignment Details
Full Time
Requirements
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology from an AMA approved school
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) in radiography and CT
- Maintains licensure requirements with the state
- Maintains annual CPR certification
- Two years minimum experience in a diagnostic imaging setting preferred
- Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally
Responsibilities
- Performs diagnostic CT examinations and assists physicians with procedures
- Documents and communicates patient care information to the next caregiver
- Analyzes CT examinations for quality control
- Operates CT and related equipment
- Administers oral and intravenous contrast media under physician's direction
- Transports and positions patients safely
