Apply now!Quality Inspector Responsibilities:- Independently perform visual inspections and measurements of products to verify compliance with specifications and quality standards- Record inspection results and maintain accurate quality documentation- Identify and reject nonconforming materials or products according to established procedures- Participate in the investigation and resolution of quality issues- Follow established action plans when a nonconformance is identified- Utilize the Stop, Call, Wait, and Escalate process when recurring defects are identified- Communicate recurring quality concerns to supervisors and appropriate Quality team members- Participate in Tier meetings as needed to communicate quality concerns and support production goals- Work closely with Operators and the Quality team to address inspection findings and maintain quality standards- Follow all company safety, quality, and manufacturing proceduresRequirements for Quality Inspector:- High School Diploma or equivalent- At least one year of experience working in an electronics manufacturing environment- Experience with Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS) or a similar manufacturing environment preferred- Basic computer skills- Working knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and manufacturing operations- Knowledge of IPC-A-610 inspection and acceptance criteria or another applicable standard, such as IPC-A-600- Ability to perform detailed visual inspections and measurements- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects or nonconforming materials- Ability to accurately document inspection results- Proficient verbal communication skills- Ability to communicate effectively with Operators, Supervisors, and Quality team members- Ability to follow established procedures and action plans- Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with a teamQPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
