The Lead, Cabin establishes work priorities and supervises the work of up to 15 technicians while monitoring and accurately completing all aircraft paper work to ensure safety and timely delivery. What you will be responsible for:

• Able to use FAA approved data proficiently.
• Able to perform and supervise maintenance on aircraft cabin components and systems.
• Ensures that interior modifications, maintenance and repair work is properly performed and is legibly documented.
• Ensures the correct use of tools and equipment.
• Ensures that work progress is documented.
• Ensures the assigned work areas are organized.
• Evaluate non-routine cards as required.
• Able to identify necessary parts and materials for the tasks and ensure their proper order.
• Documents turnovers as required.
• All other duties as assigned.

What you will need to be successful in this role:

• This position requires compliance with International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Candidates must be a U.S. Person as defined by ITAR.
• High school diploma or general education degree GED required.
• FAA Airframe License required, Powerplant License preferred.
• Minimum five (5) years' experience in aircraft maintenance.
• Fluent in English (speech, reading, writing).

Physical Demands/Work Environment:

• Able to bend, twist, squat, lift, and access all areas of the aircraft to the worked on, including confined spaces.
• Ability to use required safety equipment for the handling of hazardous materials.
• Exposed to high levels of noise, dust, vibration, and chemical fumes.
• Maneuvers in, around, under and about hanger and/or equipment on a regular basis.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and comply with OSHA standards.
• Able to climb on ladders and platforms and work at heights up to fifty (50) feet from the ground.
• Able to work in extreme climatic conditions.
