Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid and current Texas SLP license is required.
• Certification as CCC-SLP or eligibility as a Clinical Fellow (CFY) accepted.
• Prior experience in school-based speech-language pathology preferred, though strong new graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Confident in working with students ranging from kindergarten through high school.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and other school professionals.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver consistent speech-language pathology services to a diverse caseload of K-12 students according to IEP requirements.
• Conduct initial assessments, develop treatment plans, and monitor progress.
• Participate in IEP meetings, providing recommendations and support to educational teams.
• Document student progress and maintain clinical records in accordance with district and state guidelines.
• Offer guidance and strategies for families and classroom teachers to maximize student success.
