Senior Administrative & Finance Support Specialist

A public energy organization is seeking an experienced administrative and operations support professional to provide high-level support to the Finance Vice President and department leadership team.

This position is responsible for coordinating department activities, preparing leadership materials, tracking corrective actions, supporting budgeting and procurement, managing schedules and training requirements, and ensuring department records and assignments remain accurate, organized, and on schedule.

The ideal candidate has experience supporting senior leadership, handling confidential information, coordinating complex assignments, and working within a structured or highly regulated environment.

Compensation & Schedule

• Pay: $30.00 to $47.75 per hour
• Pay is based on experience, qualifications, and relevant industry experience
• Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 4 days x 10 hours
• Location: Richland, WA
• Work arrangement: Onsite
• Employment type: Full-time contract
• Initial assignment: Approximately 12 months with potential for renewal
• Business travel may be authorized
• U.S. citizenship required

Washington paid sick leave applies. Eligible employees accrue at least 1 hour of paid sick leave for every 40 hours worked. Eligible CRG contract employees may also have access to medical, dental, vision, weekly pay, direct deposit, referral bonus opportunities, and CRG recruiting and account management support after 30 days of employment. 401(k) eligibility begins after 12 months of employment with CRG.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced administrative and technical support to the Finance Vice President and department leadership team
• Prepare agendas, briefing packages, reports, correspondence, presentations, meeting minutes, and leadership materials
• Attend department meetings and track decisions, assignments, deadlines, and follow-up actions
• Monitor corrective action and action tracking reports to ensure responsibilities are completed on schedule
• Maintain department status reports and identify trends, risks, or items requiring leadership attention
• Support department budgets, reconciliations, procurement requests, contract requisitions, and change requests
• Administer department credit card activity, including purchase tracking, authorization, and reconciliation
• Coordinate leadership calendars, meetings, employee schedules, training, and qualification requirements
• Support employee and contractor onboarding, site access, travel, expense reimbursement, and department logistics
• Maintain confidential records, proprietary information, contracts, and department files in accordance with records management requirements
• Identify and recommend improvements to department processes, communication, reporting, and coordination
• Support outage activities, emergency response assignments, safety meetings, and required training as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Minimum of 5 years of administrative, executive support, department coordination, or technical support experience
• Experience supporting senior executives, managers, or department leadership teams
• Experience tracking assignments, corrective actions, deadlines, reports, or other time-sensitive activities
• Experience with procurement requests, contract requisitions, change requests, budgeting, or financial administration
• Knowledge of records management and confidential document controls
• Strong organizational, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently with limited supervision
• Ability to research information, interpret data, identify trends, and recommend solutions
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
• Ability to work onsite in Richland, WA on a Monday through Thursday 4x10 schedule
• Must meet all site access, onboarding, training, and qualification requirements

Preferred

• Experience within nuclear power, utilities, energy, government, aerospace, healthcare, manufacturing, or another regulated industry
• Experience supporting a finance, accounting, procurement, contracts, or corporate services department
• Familiarity with corrective action programs, action tracking systems, managed service provider programs, or training qualification systems
• Experience coordinating outage, emergency response, or site readiness activities
