Assembly Associate / Warehouse Assembler Location: Chesterfield, MI Employment Type: Full-Time (Temp-to-Hire) Compensation: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour + Weekly Overtime Job Description We are seeking reliable, hard-working Assembly Associates to join a fast-paced commercial packaging facility in Chesterfield, MI . In this role, you will work hands-on assembling industrial packaging materials using basic power and hand tools. This is a full-time, temp-to-hire position offering steady year-round hours, weekly pay, and substantial overtime opportunities to maximize your earning potential. - 1st Shift: $16.00 / hour | Monday - Friday (6:00 AM - 2:30 PM)
- Note: End times may extend up to 6:30 PM during high-volume periods.
- 2nd Shift: $17.00 / hour | Monday - Friday (2:30 PM - 11:00 PM)
- Note: Mandatory overtime as needed based on customer demands.
- 12-hour shifts during peak production demands.
- Mandatory Saturday shifts (when scheduled): 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM.
- Assemble large industrial cardboard boxes and commercial packaging products.
- Safely operate glue guns, staple guns, and hand tools to secure materials.
- Fold, stack, bundle, and stage packaging materials for shipment.
- Perform quality checks on completed items to ensure company standards are met.
- Keep work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety guidelines.
- Maintain steady production flow to achieve daily output targets.
- Physical Capability: Ability to stand, bend, stretch, and lift up to 50 lbs consistently throughout a shift.
- Tool Proficiency: Comfortable operating basic assembly tools (glue/staple guns).
- Dependability: Excellent attendance, punctuality, and commitment to working assigned overtime.
- Experience: Prior warehouse, manufacturing, or assembly experience is a plus, but not required .
