Maintenance Mechanics

PAY RATE: $30.00/HR - $35.00/HR
Locals Only, No Per Diem or travel offered

Job Description/Duties :

• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot, diagnosis, and repair mechanical equipment (i.e., conveyors [belt, drag, and screw], pumps, feeders, blowers, hydraulics, pneumatics, bearings, motors, couplings).
• Fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance, and/or set-up.
• Perform TIG, Stick, and MIG welding.
• Operate lifts (fork, scissor, and boom).
• Read and understand engineered drawings, manual rigging, and lifting.
• Precise alignment of direct and belt drives.
• Compile information to generate reports, forms, and documents as required.
• Respond to after-hour calls as needed.



Qualifications/Required Skills :

•• 4 years of Progressive Millwright or Industrial Mechanical Maintenance experience preferred
• Willing to train the right candidate(s).
• Comprehension of conveyor systems/dynamics, material handling fundamentals, pneumatic dust, and fluid handling systems.
• Able to pass fit test for SCBA use.
• Experience in fabrication, layout, and welding trades.
• Willing to work under varied weather conditions.
• Pass a background check and drug screening.
• High School Diploma or GED.
