Position Overview We are in search of a dedicated and empathetic Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to join our dynamic imaging team, committed to delivering outstanding care. You will operate cutting-edge ultrasound technology, collaborate with an encouraging team of healthcare professionals, and bring reassurance to patients through precise and timely imaging. Description of Responsibilities
- Conduct a comprehensive range of ultrasound scans, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging.
- Prioritize patient comfort and safety before, during, and after each procedure, with clear and compassionate communication throughout.
- Work closely with radiologists and referring physicians to achieve optimal diagnostic outcomes.
- Ensure the effective operation and maintenance of imaging equipment, promptly reporting any technical issues.
- Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and uphold patient records in the electronic medical system.
- Stay updated on advancements in ultrasound imaging technologies and best practices.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field.
- A preference for graduates of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program.
- Current certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent certification.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred.
- Proficient in sonographic imaging techniques and patient positioning.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Capability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
