Plant Manager – Garland, Texas
Employment Type: Direct Hire
Salary Range: $130,000 - $160,000
Work Schedule: Onsite, Monday through Friday

Overview:

Required Skills:

• 10+ years in manufacturing operations leadership, ideally within plastics manufacturing
• 5+ years in plant leadership with comprehensive cross-functional oversight
• Proven ability to improve safety, quality, delivery, cost, and team performance
• Strong experience with plant financials, budgeting, and cost reduction strategies
• Deep understanding of manufacturing processes, maintenance, quality systems, and warehousing
• Hands-on leader with a focus on operational discipline and continuous improvement
• Proficiency with ERP systems, especially SAP, and inventory management
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and team-building skills
• Data-driven with a strong sense of accountability and urgency

Nice to Have Skills:

• Lean manufacturing and Kaizen implementation experience
• Experience leading change initiatives in high-growth environments
• Technical certifications related to manufacturing, maintenance, or quality
• Multi-site leadership experience or familiarity with Continuous Improvement Systems

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Business, Supply Chain, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
• Extensive leadership experience in manufacturing, with a track record of measurable improvements in safety, efficiency, and profitability

Other Requirements:

• Must work in a manufacturing plant environment with regular floor presence
• Ability to work across shifts and support occasional travel to other plants, suppliers, or customer sites
