Outpatient Physical Therapist

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

5x8.0, with two evening shifts required. Total of 40 hours per week.

Job Description

The Outpatient Physical Therapist is responsible for evaluating all assigned patients and developing, implementing, and modifying treatment plans in accordance with the patient’s needs, goals, and physician direction. This role includes the delegation and direction of all discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients and ensures the design of effective functional treatment programs that facilitate return to community activities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients.
• Develop appropriate treatment plans and goals to progress patients toward discharge.
• Documentation of care provided in compliance with state, federal, and clinic policies.
• Participate in student training programs and supervise student learning experiences.
• Engage in continuous professional development and adhere to professional standards.
• Stay informed on organizational performance improvement initiatives.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school.
• Minimum of 2 years of outpatient clinical experience.
• Current CPR certification.
• Active, applicable state licensure.
