Warehouse Associate

Sort and separate ferrous and non-ferrous metals by type and grade. Operate equipment such as shears, balers, forklifts, and cranes to move or process materials. Clean and prepare scrap metal by removing non-metal components. Weigh, load, and unload metal materials for transport or processing. Inspect incoming materials to identify contaminants or hazardous substances. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area. Follow all safety guidelines and wear required protective gear. Record material weights, types, and quantities for tracking and reporting. Previous experience in scrap metal recycling, warehouse, or general labor preferred. Ability to identify different types of metals and materials. Reliable and punctual with a good work ethic.
