Part-time Temporary Bookkeeper

A great UHY client is seeking an Interim Part-Time Bookkeeper to support day-to-day accounting and operational finance activities for a growing multinational manufacturing company. This role is highly hands‑on and transactional, with responsibility across invoicing, accounts payable, bookkeeping, and general financial support. The Interim Part-Time Bookkeeper role is fully onsite in Chesterfield, MI , working 2–3 days per week (approximately 16–24 hours) . This is an interim/contract position with competitive hourly compensation based on experience. Interim Part-Time Bookkeeper – Duties & Essential Functions Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date financial records in QuickBooks Record and reconcile daily transactions, including cash, credit cards, and bank accounts Invoicing & Accounts Receivable Prepare and issue customer invoices, including domestic and international billing Ensure accuracy of pricing, quantities, and shipping documentation Track accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding balances Apply customer payments and resolve invoice discrepancies Accounts Payable Process vendor invoices and expense reports Match invoices to purchase orders and receiving documentation Prepare and process weekly or bi‑weekly payments Maintain vendor records and respond to vendor inquiries Administrative & General Support Maintain organized financial and operational records Support management with ad hoc reporting and data requests 3+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing or distribution Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks Experience with invoicing, accounts payable, and basic reconciliations High attention to detail and strong organizational skills Ability to work independently and manage priorities within a part‑time schedule #J-18808-Ljbffr UHY-US
