Overview MRI Technologist – MRI specialty in Corvallis, Oregon, United States. Start date 10/12/2026 for a 13-week travel assignment with guaranteed 40 hours per week. Weekly pay range: $2,739-$2,826. Shift: 5x8 days, with either 07:00–15:30 or 10:00–18:00 shifts; no weekend work. Setting: Short Term Acute Care Hospital imaging department. Key Highlights Weekly pay: $2,739–$2,826 per week Guaranteed hours: 40 per week Contract length: 13 weeks, with potential extension Shift: 5x8 days (07:00–15:30 or 10:00–18:00) Start date: 10/12/2026 Work setting: Diagnostic Imaging in a hospital environment Responsibilities Perform MRI exams following established protocols to ensure high-quality images and patient safety Position patients, select coils and sequences, adjust parameters, and monitor during the study Screen patients for contraindications and implants; verify consent and history; ensure patient safety and comfort Maintain sterility and safety practices; manage contrast administration if applicable; observe and respond to patient needs Collaborate with radiologists and other team members; accurately label, image, and document studies; ensure proper data handling Maintain equipment performance and report any malfunctions; adhere to ARRT MR standards and departmental policies Requirements Current ARRT (MR) or equivalent credential required Current unencumbered Oregon MRI license required Healthcare Provider BLS required Radiography background with ARRT RT(R) credential preferred Hospital setting experience preferred Ability to work in a fast-paced imaging department and adhere to safety and quality standards Benefits and Support Dedicated traveler support throughout the assignment 24/7 recruiter and travel support Fast credentialing process Potential extension opportunities beyond the initial contract
