Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM

Hours per Week: 40

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care in a medical unit setting
• Conduct thorough assessments, monitor vital signs, and document patient progress
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as ordered
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and update care plans
• Educate patients and families on health management and discharge planning
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment for optimal recovery
• Adapt to training needs and float between areas as required

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills (RNASM, RNDOC)
• Proficient in electronic medical records and nursing care delivery (RNNC)
• Effective communication (COMM) and English proficiency (ENG)
• Core nursing competencies (CORE) and professional demeanor (MCHAR)
• Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
• BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in a medical unit or acute care setting
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Flexibility to adapt to training and unit needs
