Job Description

The Registered Nurse will review patient needs and conditions to deliver nursing care in the assigned unit, ensuring that every patient receives the direct and proper care needed. This role involves analyzing patient information, including medical history, diagnostic results, and current conditions, to develop individualized nursing care plans.

Responsibilities

• Prepare nursing processes, such as medication administration and treatments, to provide comprehensive and effective patient care.


• Reconcile medical records to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.


• Evaluate patient responses to interventions and identify any additional interventions needed to meet defined goals of care.


• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure effective care planning.


• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Education: Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.


• Experience: 1 year as a Registered Nurse required; 1 year in a clinical specialty preferred.


• Licensure: Current Registered Nurse license in North Carolina or a compact state is required.


• Certifications: BLS (CPR) certification through American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider is required.
