Director of Maintenance

Why This Role Exists Our Branch Managers run the day-to-day, but someone has to ensure the entire system runs efficiently, predictably, and profitably across every branch That’s where you come in. Designing structure that drives performance Creating accountability systems that sustain results Optimizing operations across multiple locations Turning data into strategic decisions You won’t be micromanaging people—you’ll be building the framework that makes success repeatable. What You’ll Own You will lead maintenance operations across all branches by building and refining the systems that drive them: Develop and execute regional operational strategy aligned with company goals Analyze P&Ls and financial data to identify inefficiencies and improve margins Create accountability structures for Branch Managers Standardize and optimize processes across multiple markets Ensure contract retention and revenue growth through structured oversight Build training systems and performance metrics that scale Drive technology adoption Optimize capital allocation, fleet usage, and bulk purchasing strategies Establish operational rhythms (weekly meetings, reporting cadence, KPI tracking) Partner with executive leadership to execute strategic initiatives What Makes You a Fit This role is built for someone who: Thinks in systems, not tasks Naturally identifies inefficiencies and fixes them at the root Prefers structure, logic, and data Builds processes that don’t rely on constant supervision Is comfortable making high-level decisions with long-term impact Holds others accountable through clear expectations and measurable outcomes Values precision, control, and scalability You don’t just want things to work—you want them to work the right way, every time.
