Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

Job Summary:

Seeking a highly skilled registered nurse to provide exceptional care in labor and delivery during night shifts. The ideal candidate will be proficient in managing labor, delivery, and postpartum care with the ability to respond quickly in critical situations.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor patients throughout labor and delivery to ensure safety and well-being.
  
• Take over recovery processes in the labor and delivery unit, including managing cesarean sections.
  
• Assist with fetal and maternal assessments, providing necessary interventions during labor.
  
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care and ensure smooth delivery outcomes.
  
• Document clinical observations, procedures, and patient responses accurately.
  
• Respond effectively to emergencies, including catching babies during cesarean sections.
  Qualifications:
  
• Current valid RN license with experience in labor and delivery nursing.
  
• Certification in BLS, ACLS, and NRP is required.
  
• Ability to work night shifts (36-48 hours) with flexibility for start date and RTO.
  
• Strong clinical decision-making skills in high-pressure situations.
  
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  
• Must be able to provide start date, RTO, DOB, middle name, and SSN as required.
