Per Diem Pediatrics Provider – Level I Neonatal Nursery (Biddeford/Sanford) MaineHealth Medical Center is seeking an experienced pediatric provider to provide on‑call coverage for our Level I Neonatal Nursery serving the Biddeford and Sanford region. Responsibilities Provide per diem coverage for newborn nursery services, including newborn rounding and attendance at high‑risk deliveries. Manage infants requiring Level I neonatal care. Work closely with experienced nursing staff and hospital teams to deliver high‑quality newborn care. Minimum Qualifications MD/DO from an accredited medical school. Board Certified/Board Eligible in Pediatrics. PALS and NRP certifications. Prior newborn nursery and/or neonatal inpatient experience required. Experience with Level I nursery care and high‑risk deliveries preferred. Work Schedule Approximately 4–6 on‑call shifts per month. Flexible per diem/on‑call scheduling.
