The facility operates as a university medical center providing comprehensive women's imaging services with both inpatient and outpatient capabilities. The department is equipped with advanced imaging technology including Hologic, Phillips, and GE equipment to support screening, diagnostic, and interventional breast imaging procedures. The facility maintains high standards for patient care and diagnostic accuracy while serving patients requiring routine screening and specialized breast imaging services.

The area features notable cultural attractions including The Strong National Museum of Play and George Eastman Museum, along with specialty museums and historical sites. Visitors can explore unique destinations such as the Jell-O Gallery, Warner Castle, and the abandoned subway system. The region offers various entertainment venues and hosts musical performances at locations like Kodak Hall at the Eastman Theatre.

The radiologist will provide comprehensive women's imaging services Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Daily responsibilities include performing screening mammography, diagnostic mammography, 3D tomosynthesis, and breast ultrasound examinations while managing approximately 25 diagnostic cases and 6-8 breast procedures. The clinician will conduct breast procedures including ultrasound-guided and stereotactic-guided biopsies, needle localizations, and aspirations using advanced equipment including Hologic, Phillips, and GE systems. Board certification is required for this locum tenens assignment with no call requirements.
