Job Description
As a Security Officer Patrol Associate in Fort Wayne, IN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Security Officer in a dynamic tech location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will support access awareness, provide outstanding customer service and communication, and bring our agile, reliable, and innovative values to every interaction through teamwork, care, and integrity.

What You'll Do:
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout office, warehouse, and perimeter areas to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorizations, and report discrepancies according to site procedures.
- Support a fast-paced technology location by observing high-traffic areas, reporting maintenance or policy concerns, and assisting with orderly movement of employees, visitors, and deliveries.
Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
Minimum Requirements:
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
