Contract | Days | Schedule Varies, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting
• Assess, triage, and prioritize patients presenting with a wide range of emergent and urgent conditions
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure timely and effective patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient assessments, care provided, and clinical changes
• Adhere to holiday scheduling expectations, including working 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Emergency Department / Emergency Room nursing
• Required certifications: AHA BLS, PALS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience managing high-acuity and trauma patients in a busy ED environment
• Strong critical thinking and clinical decision-making skills under pressure
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) documentation systems
