UNIVERSAL Technologies, LLC is seeking an experienced PMP Certified Senior Project Manager for a hybrid position in Brooklyn, NY to oversee the full lifecycle of cross-channel digital projects, from planning and tracking through quality delivery and release. Active LinkedIn preferred . The ideal candidate will have extensive experience delivering websites and web features, managing technical teams and stakeholders, and utilizing Agile methodologies and project management tools such as Azure DevOps. This role requires strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills to ensure projects remain aligned with objectives, timelines, and quality standards.

MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of 8 years of experience managing cross-channel digital projects.
• Demonstrated hands-on experience delivering high-quality websites and web features from inception through launch.
• Experience creating and managing project schedules, communicating project updates, setting expectations, and managing stakeholders.
• Ability to proactively plan and collaborate with diverse stakeholders within a complex environment and escalate issues for resolution.
• Experience defining project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior leadership and key stakeholders.
• Experience coaching teams to remove blockers and identify dependencies that may impact project timelines or delivery.
• Expertise in software delivery best practices.
• Proficiency with Azure DevOps or a similar system for ticketing and issue resolution.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate with leadership, subject matter experts, decision-makers, and cross-functional teams.
• Experience coaching teams and driving successful project outcomes.
• Knowledge of Agile ways of working and modern software development practices.
• Experience setting up and managing project management tooling for teams.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and tasks.
• Experience managing quality assurance testing according to established processes and standards.
• Experience managing and executing software release processes.
• Experience interfacing and working closely with technical teams.
• Background in journalism, writing, or marketing with strong attention to detail and organizational skills is preferred.
• Familiarity with Search Engine Optimization (SEO) principles and practices is preferred.
• Proficiency with Content Management Systems (CMS), such as Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), and SEO tools is preferred.
• PMP (Project Management Professional) or PRINCE2 certification is highly preferred.
• Understanding of common project management tools, including Airtable, Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar platforms.
• Experience managing project budgets and resources.

SCOPE OF SERVICES

• Work with the project team to define project objectives and create and maintain detailed project work plans.
• Lead and manage tasks within the project team.
• Establish and manage communication cadence within the team and with external stakeholders.
• Monitor project activities and overall project progress.
• Document project decisions and agreements and communicate relevant information to project stakeholders.
• Identify and escalate project issues in a timely manner to support resolution.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation and ensure continued alignment with project objectives.
• Set up and manage user stories within Azure DevOps projects.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Facilitate project meetings to resolve issues, remove obstacles, and keep work aligned with expected deliverables.
• Manage project timelines and support the delivery of high-quality project outcomes on schedule.
