People Operations Coordinator

We're looking for a People Operations Coordinator to deliver an exceptional employee experience by owning the administration and processes that support the employee lifecycle across the US business. This is a fast-paced, detail-oriented role where no two days are the same. You'll be responsible for ensuring our people data is accurate, compliant and up to date, while partnering with teams across People, Payroll, Finance, Tech and external providers to deliver seamless support to employees. We're looking for someone who combines strong operational excellence with a passion for continuous improvement, technology and employee experience. If you're data-driven, naturally organised and enjoy finding smarter ways of working, we'd love to hear from you WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING: Managing the end-to-end employee lifecycle including onboarding, employment changes and leaver processes. Preparing employment documentation and supporting compliance activities, including I-9 verification and background checks. Maintaining accurate employee records across HR systems and ensuring data integrity at all times. Acting as the first point of contact for People Operations queries from employees and stakeholders. Partnering with Payroll, Finance, Technology and external providers to ensure smooth and compliant processes. Conducting regular audits and reporting to identify trends, improve data quality and support business decisions. Supporting system improvements, automation opportunities and AI-driven solutions to enhance employee experience. Creating and maintaining process documentation and knowledge resources to support consistency across global People teams. Contributing to People projects and initiatives that support Gymshark's continued growth and evolution WHAT YOU'LL NEED: Please note t his is a hybrid role partially based in our New York City office. All candidates must be local or willing to relocate. You must also be authorized to work in the United States . At least 2 years' experience within HR, People Operations or a similar people-focused administrative role. Experience managing employee records, HR administration and confidential information. Strong working knowledge of HR systems and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Confidence working with data, identifying discrepancies and maintaining high levels of accuracy. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise multiple deadlines in a changing environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills and a customer-focused approach. Experience working collaboratively with stakeholders across multiple teams. A proactive mindset with a desire to improve processes and embrace new technologies. Nice to have: Experience using ADP, particularly within a PEO environment. Experience working within a global organisation. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or a related discipline. Experience within a high-growth, multi-site or retail environment SALARY RANGE This role has a salary range between $69,000-$86,500. We are committed to fair and consistent pay practices. The salary range shown represents the anticipated hiring range for this position and may vary depending on individual qualifications and internal equity THE PERKS.
