Responsibilities

Pediatrix® Medical Group is seeking an experienced Family Nurse Practitioner to join our established neonatology practice in Fort Myers, Florida . This is a fantastic opportunity to practice in a supportive, collaborative environment while enjoying an exceptional Gulf Coast lifestyle.

Position Highlights

• Provide attending coverage at Cape Coral Hospital , a Level I low-risk delivery service
• Responsibilities include daily newborn nursery rounding and delivery attendance
• Flexible scheduling with 32 hour work week
• Supported by a robust, experienced team of 10 neonatologists and 10 Neonatal Nurse Practitioners at Golisano Children's Hospital
• Hospital affiliated with a state-of-the-art, 70-bed Level III NICU
• Ideal candidates will have strong prior experience in a newborn nursery

About Cape Coral Hospital

• Community hospital within the Lee Health System
• Single-room maternity care model , allowing families to remain in one suite throughout labor, delivery, and recovery
• Leapfrog "A" Safety Grade, 4-Star Baby-Friendly® Hospital designation

Qualifications

• Current APRN national specialty certification as an FNP
• Minimum of a master's degree
• Highly prefer strong prior experience in a newborn nursery
