Inventory Control Associate

Pay Rate Range: $18/hr. Employment Type: Contract Schedule: Day Shift Location: Tucker, GA Tekberry is looking for a highly qualified and motivated Inventory Control Associate to work on-site with our client in Tucker, GA. The position will involve many Battery Production activities, including order processing and logistics arrangements, inventory control, production planning, setting and maintaining critical stock levels, as well as performing inventory and cycle counts. This position will also work closely with the Logistics Center coordinating order processing and logistics functions.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Good attendance and punctuality.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
• Adhere to safety protocols, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required, and reporting any safety hazards or incidents.
• Work with external stakeholders.
• Reconcile inventory reports.
• Interact with customers (dealers, customer program leads, etc.) via telephone, email, online chat, or in-person to provide solutions with inventory orders and stock maintenance.
• Collect and enter information for battery and/or component orders.
• Field internal and external customer questions and complaints and ensure appropriate actions are taken to resolve customers’ problems and concerns. When the issue is beyond the representative’s knowledge, the inquiry is sent to the direct supervisor for assistance.
• Provide thorough updates during a bi-weekly team meeting.
• Work directly with the company management to properly implement efficient Battery Production Processes and address concerns.
• Monitor and maintain stock levels of inventory needed for specific programs related to Battery Production.
• Maintain customer accounts, relationships, and records of customer interactions with details of inquiries, complaints, or comments.
• Other duties as required by supervisor.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Office, Outlook and Teams.
• Service-oriented and able to resolve customer grievances.
• Ability to organize and stay organized.
• Demonstrated teamwork and customer service skills.
• Self-starter, proactive approach.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with different individuals such as supervisor, customers and team members.
• Excels at creative problem solving.
• Strong computer skills including experience navigating various systems/software platforms.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent, required.
• Prior Inventory, Production Planning, and/or Administrative Experience, preferred.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements:

This is an active position and requires the following. Walking/ Standing for long periods of time, sitting for long periods of time, talking, seeing, hearing, good finger dexterity, working on a computer, and talking on the phone. This position may require lifting up to 45 pounds.
