Key Responsibilities:

Recruiting & Talent Acquisition

• Develop and execute innovative recruiting strategies for retail, wholesale, warehouse, automotive service, sales, management, and corporate positions.
• Recruit for difficult-to-fill positions in a competitive labor market, including technicians, tire technicians, service personnel, drivers, warehouse associates, sales professionals, and management.
• Utilize creative sourcing techniques beyond traditional job boards, including social media recruiting, employee referrals, community outreach, networking, industry associations, recruiting events, direct sourcing, and targeted campaigns.
• Build and maintain active talent pipelines for both immediate and future hiring needs.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing requirements, position priorities, qualifications, and workforce challenges.
• Develop compelling job postings and recruiting campaigns designed to attract qualified candidates.
• Screen applicants, conduct initial interviews, assess qualifications, coordinate interviews, and facilitate the selection process.
• Maintain consistent communication with candidates throughout the recruiting process to create a positive candidate experience.
• Continuously evaluate recruiting results and introduce new strategies when traditional approaches are not producing sufficient candidates.

Onboarding

• Coordinate a seamless onboarding process from accepted offer through the employee's first days and weeks.
• Manage pre-employment requirements, documentation, background checks, drug screening where applicable, employment eligibility verification, and other onboarding activities.
• Prepare new-hire materials and ensure all required documentation is completed accurately and on time.
• Coordinate orientation, introductions, training schedules, and department-specific onboarding.
• Develop a consistent onboarding experience that promotes engagement, productivity, safety, and retention.
• Conduct new-hire follow-ups to identify concerns and improve the onboarding experience.

Successful candidates will have :

• 3-5+ years of professional recruiting/talent acquisition experience required.
• Proven ability to develop and implement creative and innovative sourcing strategies.
• Strong interviewing, candidate-assessment, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple open positions simultaneously.
• Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS), recruiting platforms, social media recruiting, and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace.
• Ability to work independently while also functioning as a collaborative member of the HR team.
• This job will also require successful completion of a background check and pre-employment drug screening.

Preferred Experience

• Knowledge of ADP Workforce Now and ADP Screening & Selection Services.
• Experience working with technical schools, trade schools, workforce-development organizations, or automotive training programs.
• Experience supporting multi-location recruiting.
