Location & Compensation Nashua, NH Sign‑On Bonus: $1,500 for Certified Veterinary Technicians, $1,000 for Non‑Certified. Hourly rate: $24‑$27 /hr, negotiable based on credentials and experience. Ideal Candidate Passionate about animal care, highly motivated, and pays attention to detail. The Veterinary Technician is the heartbeat of the team and works side by side with Veterinarians during procedures. Full‑time position requires 30‑40 hours per week. Responsibilities Support veterinarians to ensure quality veterinary care, advocate for pets, and educate clients. Assist with surgeries and procedures in accordance with state Veterinary Practice Act for credentialed veterinary technicians. Monitor and assess patient status. Collect blood and other samples for testing. Place catheters. Communicate with clients about individualized pet health concerns and offer guidance on Thrive Membership options, medications, and additional treatments. Assist in maintaining comprehensive medical records with practice systems. Obtain relevant health history and information from clients and maintain medical charts. Use safe restraining techniques, follow standard protocols, and sustain clean, sterile, organized treatment areas, exam rooms, and labs. Guide, mentor, and support fellow team members. Requirements Previous veterinary experience is required. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, squat, reach, stand, and walk throughout the day.
