Job Opening: Tax ManagerLocation: Philadelphia, PA (Hybrid) Salary: $120K-$180K base We are nationally ranked public accounting firm seeking a strategic and technically proficient Tax Manager to lead our tax department. This role is designed for an experienced tax professional who can oversee complex tax compliance, drive high-level tax planning initiatives, and mentor a professional team in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate would have experience with high net worth individuals, trusts, estates, and family entities. Key ResponsibilitiesTax Compliance & Review: Oversee the preparation and final review of complex federal and state tax returns for corporations, partnerships, high-net-worth individuals, trusts, and estates.Strategic Planning: Identify and implement sophisticated tax-saving strategies while ensuring full compliance with ever-changing legislative requirements.Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of tax professionals, providing regular performance feedback and technical guidance.Advisory Services: Act as a key consultant for internal leadership or external clients on technical tax matters.Risk Management: Maintain the firm's tax risk profile by ensuring accurate tax accounting (ASC 740) and timely filings across all jurisdictions.QualificationsEducation: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; Master's in Taxation (MST) is highly preferred.Certification: Active CPA license is required.Experience: 5+ years of progressive tax experience in public accounting.
