Housing Business Operations Lead

Manager of Operations Location: South Florida (Multi-Site Leadership Role) Reports To: Vice President of Operations / COO Travel: Up to 50% (car) within South Florida Region We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Manager of Operations to lead and optimize operations across six manufacturing plants serving six distinct industries throughout South Florida. This role will be responsible for driving operational excellence, financial performance, continuous improvement initiatives, supply chain effectiveness, regulatory compliance, and workforce development across a diverse manufacturing portfolio. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in multi-site manufacturing operations , Lean Manufacturing , Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) , supply chain management, and financial leadership. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) is essential. This individual will serve as a strategic partner to executive leadership while maintaining a hands-on approach to operational execution. Provide leadership and strategic direction for six manufacturing facilities operating across multiple industries. Ensure safe, efficient, and profitable plant operations while achieving company growth objectives. Develop and implement operational strategies that improve productivity, quality, cost performance, and customer satisfaction. Monitor production metrics and operational KPIs to ensure attainment of performance goals. Lean Manufacturing & Continuous Improvement ~ Champion continuous improvement programs including: ~ Root Cause Analysis ~ Establish a culture of operational excellence and accountability across all facilities. ~ Drive improvements in OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness), throughput, inventory turns, and on-time delivery. Financial & P&L Management Maintain full responsibility for multi-site operational P&L performance. Analyze financial performance and implement corrective actions when necessary. Manage labor, overhead, material utilization, inventory, and logistics costs. Supply Chain Management Oversee supply chain planning, procurement coordination, inventory management, warehousing, and logistics operations. Ensure optimal inventory levels while supporting production and customer service requirements. Collaborate with procurement and supplier partners to improve service levels and reduce supply chain risk. Utilize D365 data and reporting to support demand planning and operational decision-making. Quality, GMP & Compliance Ensure compliance with all applicable GMP standards and industry regulations. Establish and maintain quality systems that support customer requirements and regulatory expectations. Support internal audits, external audits, and customer inspections. Drive a culture of quality and compliance throughout all operations. Microsoft Dynamics 365 Leadership Utilize Microsoft Dynamics 365 to monitor operational performance and improve decision-making. Partner with IT and business leadership to optimize D365 processes and reporting capabilities. Ensure accurate ERP utilization for production planning, inventory management, costing, quality management, and supply chain operations. Identify opportunities for automation and digital transformation. Build high-performance teams through coaching, development, and succession planning. Foster a culture focused on safety, accountability, employee engagement, and continuous improvement. Support recruiting, training, and retention initiatives across all facilities. Safety & Environmental Stewardship Promote a safety-first culture across all operations. Ensure compliance with OSHA, environmental regulations, and company safety policies. Reduce workplace incidents through proactive risk management and employee training. Bachelor's Degree in: Operations Management Supply Chain Management Manufacturing Management Business Administration Related Field MBA preferred. Minimum 5 years managing multiple manufacturing facilities. ~ Experience overseeing operations within regulated manufacturing environments. ~ Demonstrated success managing complex supply chain operations. ~ Experience leading operational transformations and Lean initiatives. Strong experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365). Advanced budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis capabilities.
