Job Description Contingent - 72 hours per month (minimum) Shifts Available: Midnights Location Requirement: Select five hospitals to float between (1 Zone + 1 Additional Site = 5 Hospitals) Hospital Locations to choose: Detroit Main; Macomb, Novi, Rochester, Southfield, St. John; Warren; West Bloomfield, Wyandotte

GENERAL SUMMARY:

Under general supervision, demonstrates ability to handle nursing problems and, in general, an expanded group of nursing practices. Performs nursing intervention across a variety of nursing situations. Identifies patient problems prior to explicit changes in patient-specific data collection (such as vital signs). EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Graduation from an accredited school of nursing. Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred. Minimum of two to three (2-3) years of recent related clinical nursing experience in the area of practice and a demonstrated level of performance required. Willingness to float to multiple locations. Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans. Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services. Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED:
