This position works around industrial furnaces and requires comfort working 12-hour shifts in a high-temperature environment.Job DutiesOperate, load, unload, and monitor multiple industrial furnace linesMove metal components using barrels, dollies, and material-handling equipmentPrepare containers for production and ensure they remain free of oil, debris, and foreign materialsWeigh finished materials and create, print, and scan product labelsMonitor equipment performance and adjust controls to maintain consistent product flow and qualityCollect samples and perform required process and concentration testingMaintain accurate production, quality, and inspection recordsMonitor chemical supplies and safely adjust soaps, oils, and treatment solutions as requiredAssist with salt-recovery and other material-reclamation processesComplete minor equipment adjustments, including tightening hardware and replacing basic machine componentsSupport the maintenance team with troubleshooting and repairs when neededEducation RequirementsHigh school diploma or GED preferred. Previous manufacturing or production training is beneficial.Experience RequirementsAbility to work safely in manufacturing and production environments. Ability to follow written work instructions, production procedures, and quality standards. Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain productivity and consistent quality. Mechanical aptitude and the ability to safely operate basic production equipment when required. Dependable attendance, teamwork, and a commitment to workplace safety.Preferred QualificationsPrevious manufacturing, assembly, production, warehouse, or industrial experience is preferred. Experience operating production equipment, performing quality inspections, or meeting production goals is beneficial. Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement practices, or workplace safety procedures is considered an asset. Individuals who demonstrate reliability, adaptability, teamwork, and a strong work ethic are well positioned for success as a Production Operator.Physical CapabilitiesAbility to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive production tasks throughout the shift. Ability to lift materials, components, or finished products weighing up to 50 pounds. Ability to safely operate around production equipment and moving machinery.
