Position Overview

As a Tax Manager , you will be responsible for managing client tax engagements, reviewing returns, mentoring staff accountants, and providing strategic advisory services to both business and individual clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Review complex individual, corporate, partnership, trust, and estate tax returns

• Lead tax planning and advisory engagements

• Manage multiple client relationships and serve as the primary point of contact

• Conduct tax research and provide strategic recommendations

• Identify tax-saving opportunities for clients

• Oversee engagement deadlines, workflow, and profitability

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of public tax accounting experience

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required

• CPA strongly preferred

• Experience reviewing tax returns , not just preparation

• Strong expertise in business and individual taxation and tax planning

• Proven client advisory and consultative skills

• Leadership experience with staff mentoring and development

• Strong project management and relationship-building abilities

Pay Details: $93,000.00 to $104,000.00 per year
