Kettle Cuisine takes the utmost pride in their products and expects each employee to do the same with their work.Duties and ResponsibilitiesAdhere to safe working practices at all timesPerform daily checks of area for non-compliance and report them to your managerEnsure bill of ladings are completed accurately and on-time.Complete nightly cycle-countsLoad vehicles timely, accurately and efficientlyOrganize and prioritize pick-order for the nightNotify planning of any unforeseen shorts.Accurate and timely completion of required documentation to enable clear traceabilityFollow the company GMP’sEnsure clean and tidy shipping office at all timesPlan ahead all activities to reduce downtimeRecord data.Manage ERP system transactions.Communicate and update all relevant parties of any issues or changesTake active lead with new employees and temporary laborEncourage colleagues to challenge the status quo and drive continuous improvementTake instructions from supervisors.Any other tasks deemed reasonable and reasonably requested by managementCommunicate an end of shift hand-off to the 1st shift lead.Pack customer samples correctly and ship accurately for customer shipments from production stock via UPS/FedEx.Follow up on all orders daily and assist on lead time.Required Skills1 year of manufacturing experience preferably in the food industryExperience working in temperature controlled settingsExperience with perishable itemsProven track record in safe working practicesExcellent interpersonal skills needed for working in a team environmentGoal oriented & well organizedAbility to work all scheduled shifts, on timeAbility to operate a pallet jack / fork liftAble to interact and communicate with the supervisors and team membersAbility to lift 50 lbsPassion for food and high qualityExcellent attention to detailEffective verbal and written communication skillsGood telephone skillsTime managementProblem solvingPlanning and organizingNumeracy skillsBi-lingual preferredPositive attitude and motivated by contributing to the overall success of the teamCreative problem solving skillsObsessive attention to detail, well organized and able to juggle many projects at onceComfortable moving at a fast pace and in ambiguous environmentsWilling to address difficult situations head on with patience and respectAmericans with Disabilities ActKettle Cuisine complies with all aspects of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and state disability laws. The listed salary range represents Kettle Cuisine’s good faith estimate for this position and represents the minimum and maximum for new hire salaries for the Lynn, MA location only. Ranges will be reviewed on a regular basis. An employee’s rate of pay within the range is determined by their qualifications, relevant experience, and demonstrated performance over time. In addition to those factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical to allow for future and continued salary growth. The Shipper position is eligible for our comprehensive benefits package and is eligible for the annual discretionary bonus program up to 5%.
