ICU Nurse - Specialty: Intensive Care Unit - Location: Not specified. This role involves providing specialized critical care to adult and geriatric patients in a short-term acute care setting. The position requires flexibility to float between units and adherence to weekend shift commitments.

Job Details

• Position Description: ICU RN, Req 11018. The role involves floating between units as needed, with a focus on adult and geriatric patient care within a Level II Trauma Center.
• Required Qualifications: Valid state license with a minimum of 1 year ICU experience, ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and ONN certifications. Must have experience with charting systems (Epic preferred), managing Ports, administering chemotherapy, and ventilator management.
• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Candidates must have at least 1 year ICU experience, provide two references covering 1 year within the last 3 years, and be able to work at least 6 weekend shifts every 6 weeks. Candidates may be expected to float between sister ICUs, and refusal to float may affect employment status.
• Submission Requirements: Candidates must include responses to questions regarding previous employment at a Providence facility, the location and dates of such employment, and provide two references complying with the specified criteria.
