Utilities Manager

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead utility construction projects supporting a large-scale, long-term joint venture initiative. This role is responsible for managing project scope, schedule, budget, procurement, contractor coordination, stakeholder communication, and project execution while ensuring safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate has a strong background in electric utilities, transmission line construction, environmental/regulatory projects, or major infrastructure construction. This is not an IT or Telecom Project Management role. Key Responsibilitie sLead utility construction projects from planning through closeout .Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, resources, and risk mitigation plans .Coordinate cross-functional teams, contractors, vendors, and external stakeholders .Monitor project progress, resolve issues, and communicate status to leadership .Manage procurement activities, RFPs, contract administration, and vendor performance .Ensure projects meet safety, quality, environmental, and regulatory requirements .Support construction planning, outage coordination, cost control, and project reporting .Drive continuous improvement while maintaining compliance with project management standards and governance Required Qualificatio nsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, Project Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience .8+ years of Project Management experience supporting electric utility, transmission, construction, infrastructure, or energy project s.Experience managing large capital or construction projects from initiation through completio n.Strong knowledge of project scheduling, budgeting, procurement, contracts, and risk managemen t.Experience working with contractors, engineering teams, and field operation s.Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skill s.Proficiency with Microsoft Offic e.Valid driver's licens Preferred Qualificati onsPMP Certificati on.Experience with Primavera P6 and PMBOK methodologi es.Utility industry experience with transmission lines, forestry, environmental, or regulatory projec ts.Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration ski #J-18808-Ljbffr
