At Unified Group Services , we take care of the customer, and then some! Established in 1996, we're a proud full-service third-party administrator (TPA) for self-funded group health insurance plans. Our Anderson, IN office is hiring a self-motivated person with a customer service mindset to become a full-time Reinsurance Specialist and manage over-specific claims. REINSURANCE SPECIALIST CRITERIA

• Excellent customer service skills
• Motivation to exceed expectations for both internal and external contacts
• Ability to work well under pressure, stay organized, and efficiently multitask
• Ability to collaborate professionally and effectively with a diverse group of people
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Clear and effective verbal/written communication skills with professional phone etiquette
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Reliable attendance
• Self-motivated, positive, and courteous mentality

Bonus Qualifications

• Some college education
• Experience with self-funded insurance

THE PART YOU'LL PLAY

Our Reinsurance Specialist needs an eye for detail and a knack for problem-solving, as you'll be researching denied over-specific claims, discussing claims with carriers, and achieving positive outcomes for customers. You'll file reinsurance over-specific claims, provide documentation as requested to support your case, and work with insurance companies to obtain refunds for customers.

Accuracy will be vital as you run RX reports for filing, update cover sheets and customer data sheets, log reimbursements, and document filings in Excel. You'll contact customers about their refunds, coordinate with the marketing department on closing groups, and assist in other areas as needed.
