CFO Advisory, Accounting Advisory Manager

Lead multiple client engagements and serve as a key point of contact and trusted advisor throughout the project lifecycle
Support and optimize clients' financial close processes
Assist with accounting transformation initiatives, including cash-to-accrual conversions, opening balance sheet preparation, and purchase accounting
Guide organizations through audit readiness efforts and support interactions with external auditors
Lead technical accounting projects involving ASC 480, ASC 606, ASC 718, ASC 805, ASC 815, and ASC 842
Advise clients on IPO, SPAC, and SEC reporting matters, including disclosure and compliance requirements
Prepare and review financial statements, footnote disclosures, accounting memos, reconciliations, audit support schedules, and SEC filings including Forms 10-Q and 10-K
Mentor and develop team members
Partner with senior leadership to enhance client service and expand engagement scope
Deliver practical accounting and finance solutions across multiple industries

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• Active CPA license highly preferred
• 5 or more years of experience within public accounting, advisory, or industry accounting environments
• Experience supporting SEC registrants, public companies, and/or private equity-backed organizations
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and interest in researching and resolving complex accounting issues
• Experience with month-end close, financial reporting, or SEC reporting processes
• Proven project management skills
• Ability to prioritize competing demands and lead engagements from planning through completion
• Ability to manage multiple client relationships and work effectively independently and in teams
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking capabilities
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Ability to travel approximately 25-40% based on client and business needs
• Eligibility to work in the United States
