Job Summary:
The Oregon-based Operating Room Circulation Nurse specializes in perioperative nursing practice during intraoperative surgical experiences. This position involves delivering safe, effective, and patient-family centered care in the operating room and other perioperative service areas for diverse patient populations. The role requires acting as a patient advocate, providing direction and supervision to assigned personnel, and being on call for the Surgery Unit on a regular scheduled rotation. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Location: Hermiston, Oregon
• Schedule: 12-hour flexible shift from 06:30 to 19:00, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Current RN license in the State of Oregon; Associate of Science in Nursing or Bachelor's degree in Nursing; BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC certifications; no minimum years of experience required
• Preferred Qualifications: Previous RN circulator experience, perioperative 101 course, scrub experience, CNOR, Peri-op 101, CRASE training (if travel assignment extends beyond 6 months)
• Additional Information: The RN will perform a variety of duties that require adaptability and efficiency, including patient safety measures, specimen management, medication administration, wound and tissue perfusion management, and maintaining patient rights and confidentiality. The role emphasizes effective communication, teamwork, professional growth, and adherence to hospital policies and procedures. Floating to other departments where qualified may be required.
