About This Role The Registered Nurse - Ambulatory (OB/GYN) position involves providing age-specific care for patients using the nursing process. Highlights Location: Franklin Square, NY Schedule: Full-Time, Day shift What You’ll Do Conduct patient interviews and assess health status across multiple systems. Communicate and document patient’s physiologic and psychological health status. Develop individualized patient outcome statements and goals. Coordinate cost-effective use of supplies and document the plan of care. Implement the plan of care and maintain patient safety precautions. Evaluate care effectiveness and document outcomes for performance improvement. Collaborate with care team members on treatment regimens. Administer medications safely and educate patients on drug interactions. Participate in patient and family education and discharge planning. Perform related duties as required. Education Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred Experience Previous Labor and Delivery experience highly preferred Licenses & Certifications Current License to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State required Must be enrolled in an accredited BSN program within two (2) years and obtain a BSN Degree within five (5) years of job entry date #J-18808-Ljbffr
