CoWorx Staffing Services is seeking Machine Operator candidates in the Attleboro, MA area.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate presses, spot welders, and tapping machines.
• Perform bench operations using hand-held equipment.
• Use equipment such as punch presses, degreasers, welders, pneumatic and foot presses, optical comparator scales, micrometers, gauges, templates, torque wrenches, verniers, calipers, thread comparators, and plug and ring gauges.
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment as scheduled.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area.
• Wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
• Perform additional duties as required.
• Lift up to 25 pounds as needed.
• Stand for up to 90% of the workday.

Desired Background/Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic shop math skills.
• Ability to read and understand written instructions in English.
• Ability to use handheld measurement instruments.
• Experience operating continuous metal strip processing equipment preferred.

Other Information:

Environment: Manufacturing. Dust, dirt, grease, chemicals, odors, oil, fumes and noise. Exposure to temperatures above 90 degrees - 20%.
