Job Summary Full‑time night shift (7 p.m.–7 a.m.) on a state‑of‑the‑art, 21‑bed Neuro‑Med/Surg unit. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide safe, high‑quality patient‑centered care while utilizing technology, tools, and staff support to streamline monitoring and communication. Responsibilities Assess the patient’s condition during admission and at each scheduled shift, promptly identifying and reporting any changes in status. Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by medical providers, ensuring thorough and timely documentation in the patient’s medical record. Administer prescribed medications, monitor therapeutic response, and take appropriate action in the event of an unintended response. Respond promptly to patient requests, proactively anticipate patient needs, and resolve them. Educate patients, families, and caregivers about the patient’s medical condition, treatment plan, medications, possible side effects, and follow‑up measures, ensuring complete understanding by translating complex terminology. Qualifications Registered Nurse (RN). Basic Cardiac Life Support certification obtained within 30 days of start date. Registered Nurse Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, or Associate Degree in Nursing. Prior acute‑care hospital experience is required.
