• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,830 - $3,300

• Schedule Notes: One opening supports a full-time weekday schedule, and the other provides PRN anesthesia coverage for vacations and short-staffing needs
• Privileging Timeframe: Approximately 60 days

Job Requirements

• M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited College of Medicine
• Completion of an approved residency in Anesthesiology
• Board certification or fellowship required
• Current physician license required; candidates needing to obtain a North Carolina state license may be considered
• ECFMG and FLEX required, if applicable
• At least 1 year of anesthesiology experience required
• Ability to work in a collaborative operating room setting and support supervision of CRNAs

Responsibilities

• Assist in directing and coordinating activities in the anesthesia department
• Provide medical management for patients undergoing surgery and other procedures
• Perform pre-anesthesia assessments and verify patient consent
• Discuss anesthetic options and risks with patients
• Induce, maintain, and emerge patients safely from anesthesia
• Monitor physiological status throughout the procedure and respond to changes as needed
• Deliver clinical intervention when necessary to support patient safety
• Collaborate with surgical, anesthesia, and perioperative teams to help ensure efficient, high-quality care
