Thank you for your interest!Position Title: Electrician 3rd ShiftDepartment/Category: Cost center 730Reports To: Maintenance ManagerLocation: Stuarts Draft, VA 24477Performance Summary: Responsible for maintaining electrical systems and controls in support of the manufacturing processes throughout the plant.Responsibilities:Trouble shoot and repair electrical systems and controlsOccasional design and build of new systemsOccasional modifications and upgrades to older systemsPrioritize workload with area managers to maintain maximum throughputPerform all duties safely and follow all safety guidelinesParticipate in safety programs as neededMaintain excellent housekeepingPerform other duties as assignedExperience: A minimum of 7 years of experience with industrial power and control systemsEducation: High school diploma or GED required Vocational training or Associates degree relating to industrial powerTraining and Skills:Proficient at PLC, Analog and Digital programmingProficient with Motors, VFD's, breakers, starters, relays, etc.Proficient with Technical drawings and documentationAnalytical skillsStrong customer orientationStrong verbal and written communication skillsFamiliar with Microsoft Office and OutlookTime ManagementAcceptable attendance record per hiring and job transfer policiesAbility to understand and follow all applicable safety policiesAbility to understand and follow standard work practicesCompetencies:Customer FocusAbility to work in a team-based production systemAttention to detailQuality FocusContinuous Improvement FocusProblem solvingAdaptabilityInitiativePhysical Demands / Environmental Factors: Ability to lift loads of up to 70 pounds for short periods of timeNIBCO is committed to equal opportunity employment.
