Job Description

Indy West Christian School is seeking a caring, dependable, mature Christian individual to join our Charger Care team. This role involves supervising students before and after school hours in a safe, nurturing, and Christ-centered environment.Professional Qualifications:High School Diploma or GEDAbility to work effectively with teachers, administration, parents, and studentsSpiritual and Personal Qualifications:A personal and growing relationship with Jesus ChristAgreement with and active support of the school's Statement of Faith and Lifestyle StatementServes as a Christian role model in attitude, speech, and conductDemonstrates spiritual maturity, integrity, and confidentialityActive membership in an evangelical churchA clear calling to serve in Christian school ministryAbility to follow the Matthew 18 principle in handling conflictDuties and Responsibilities:Supervise and interact with students in Charger CareFoster a safe, loving, and Christ-centered atmosphereSupport a school climate conducive to learningAssist students with learning tasks as neededServe as a godly role modelCommunicate regularly with the Charger Care CoordinatorMaintain a positive attitude with students, parents, and staffParticipate in assigned in-service programsCare for school property and maintain suppliesUphold confidentiality and follow the Matthew 18 Principle in relationshipsPerform other duties as assigned
