Locums Orthopedic Surgery Call Only Poplar Bluff, MO (MO License Required) Why This Role Ongoing orthopedic surgery call coverage Call-only assignment with no clinic responsibilities 1:2 beeper call schedule Cerner EMR Assignment Details Start Date: ASAP End Date: Ongoing Coverage Type: Call Only Call Type: Beeper Call Call Ratio: 1:2 Response Time: 30 minutes Setting: Inpatient EMR: Cerner Credentialing: Approximately 90 days Requirements Active Missouri medical license Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery ACLS BLS Clinical Details Assigned patient call coverage Average: - 4 patient encounters per call period - 4 admissions - Approximately 5 phone consults - 10% callback rate General orthopedic trauma and emergency call coverage Preferred experience includes: - Arthroscopy - Total joint replacement (hip, knee) - Joint revision/repair - Hand surgery - Tendon repair - Peripheral nerve surgery - Spine procedures (with and without instrumentation) Facility Highlights Community hospital 11 operating rooms RN support Inpatient orthopedic service
