Seeking a skilled and motivated Project Manager to join a leading construction company in Montrose, Colorado. This full‑time, in‑office position involves overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects from start to finish. The role is primarily based in the office, with occasional visits to job sites once a month for progress checks and coordination with on‑site teams. What You’ll Do Plan, organize, and oversee projects to ensure they are completed on time, within budget, and within scope. Assist in Business Development; interact with clients and potential clients; prepare and participate in client presentations and interviews to secure new work. Lead and collaborate with Design Team members throughout the Project Design Life Cycle (Conceptual, Schematic, Design, Construction) providing constructability review, cost analysis, and design re‑direction as required to maintain budget integrity. Analyze comprehensive bid packages and negotiate subcontracts and material buyouts. Coordinate with Field Operations to ensure a reasonable and realistic set of project goals has been completed (permitting, preliminary schedule, staffing, logistics/sequencing, general conditions, special conditions). Manage project progression including subcontracts, submittals, change orders, master schedule, conflict resolution, project documentation, quality assurance, and project safety. Manage project costs through the ongoing evaluation of labor, material, and equipment; forecast and analyze construction costs, assemble schedule of values and monthly pay applications, evaluate risk exposures and profitability through project close‑out. Qualifications Proven experience in construction project management, preferably in both Residential and Hospitality projects; commercial work could be a fit. Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Familiarity with project management software and tools. A proactive, problem‑solving attitude and ability to adapt to changing project needs. Experience as an APM or as a Sr. PE. Opportunity to step into executive‑level roles and ownership within a few years. Opportunity to manage developing projects as well, including site selection, entitlements, design, and financing. Working in an office, with some travel to the Telluride jobsites. A strong backlog of work, stemming from the developer side of the company.
