What does success look like in this role? The ideal candidate must be comfortable working independently and have great time management skills. They should be able to proactively identify areas that are in need of housekeeping and any safety issues and feel comfortable calling them out to someone on the leadership team so they can address them immediately. The Following Schedule Is Available For This Role 1st Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30PM Starting Pay $18.50 per hour Location 16609 Slover Ave, Fontana, CA, 92337 All About You What You’ll Bring to the Role: Excellent interpersonal skills Ability to remain flexible, re-prioritize, and respond to changing demands Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of staff and management Willingness to volunteer for additional responsibilities Familiarity with warehouse environment and procedures Ability to be a self-motivated, team player who can independently Be punctual and work planned schedule with ability to work varied hours based on business needs Must always maintain a clean and organized work environment An exemplary degree of professionalism with all company employees Trustworthy and moral character (we use pre-employment background & drug tests) The Must Haves Must be Equipment Certified. High school diploma or equivalent Minimum 6+ months of custodial or cleaning experience Must have physical ability to carry out essential job functions, including but not limited to, sitting for long periods of time, occasionally walking, and standing, climbing ladders/stairs, and tolerating conditions such as dust, dirt, noise, odors, heat, cold, etc. when stepping into the warehouse Things You Will be Doing Disinfect various areas throughout the distribution center throughout the day, and keep the building neat, clean, free from clutter, and safe. Pick up and remove trash, sweep, mop, vacuum, and use industrial cleaning equipment to clean multiple areas, including cleaning and stocking restrooms, beams, stairways, windows, etc. Assist warehouse staff with restocking packing stations, fixing corrugated pallets, and other related duties as assigned Report minor maintenance issues immediately to the supervisor or manager Continually responsible for maintaining current housekeeping procedures and practicing all safety procedures Other duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager Perks Staff purchase program – wear the brands you love!
